Central Coast DesignPros, LLC, operating the Truckets platform (“Truckets,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), respects your privacy.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect personal information in connection with the Truckets website, Trucking Portal, Driver Mobile App, Portal Management tools, digital ticketing tools, reporting tools, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

This Privacy Policy applies to business customers, authorized users, company owners, administrators, operators, dispatchers, billing users, drivers, website visitors, and other individuals who interact with the Services.

1. Truckets as a Business Platform

Truckets is a business-to-business platform for trucking operations.

Our business customers decide what information they enter into the Services, who they authorize to use the Services, and how they use operational records. In many cases, Truckets processes dispatch, driver, job, ticket, signature, location, billing, and related information on behalf of the trucking company that controls the account.

If you are a driver, employee, contractor, dispatcher, or other authorized user of a trucking company using Truckets, that trucking company may be responsible for providing notices, obtaining required permissions, and handling certain privacy requests related to information it controls.

2. Notice at Collection

Depending on how you use the Services, Truckets may collect the categories of information described in this Privacy Policy for the purposes described below.

We collect information directly from you, from the trucking company that authorizes your access, automatically through your device or browser, and from service providers used to operate the Services.

4. Sensitive Personal Information

Certain information processed through Truckets may be considered sensitive personal information under applicable law. This may include precise location information, account login information, message content, signatures, and government-related identifiers if a customer chooses to enter them into the Services.

We use sensitive personal information only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, support, maintain, and improve the Services; comply with law; prevent fraud or abuse; and protect rights and safety. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about individuals.

5. How We Collect Information

We may collect information:

  • Directly from customers and users when they create an account, verify an access code, use the Services, create or complete dispatch tickets, upload records, purchase ticket bundles, request support, or communicate with us.
  • From trucking companies that add, invite, or manage authorized users.
  • Automatically through the website, applications, cookies, local storage, software development kits, logs, analytics tools, device information, and similar technologies.
  • From service providers used to operate Truckets, including payment, hosting, cloud-storage, mapping, email, messaging, notification, security, and support providers.

6. How We Use Information

We may use personal information to:

  • Provide, operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services.
  • Create and manage accounts, access codes, permissions, and company-specific access.
  • Enable dispatch, ticket, trip, signature, evidence, review, approval, reporting, billing, and settlement workflows.
  • Process dispatch-ticket bundle purchases and maintain payment-related records.
  • Provide optional Time & Attendance workflows when enabled by the trucking company.
  • Enable active-work location features, operational tracking, ticket verification, and related reporting when permitted and enabled.
  • Synchronize offline ticket work when a device reconnects.
  • Provide customer support and company-scoped communications.
  • Send service, security, account, and operational notifications.
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents, and violations of our terms.
  • Troubleshoot errors, analyze performance, and improve features.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce agreements.
  • Protect the rights, property, safety, and security of Truckets, customers, users, and others.

7. Driver App Company Access

The Driver Mobile App is designed so that a driver account is associated with one trucking company.

The company access code establishes the company context before the driver signs in. Truckets uses this information to restrict driver operational data, tickets, messages, notifications, and related records to the authorized trucking company.

8. Optional Time & Attendance

Time & Attendance is optional and is enabled at the trucking company’s discretion.

When enabled, the Driver Mobile App may collect and process clock-in and clock-out times, shift status, attendance records, and related calculations. When Time & Attendance is not enabled by the trucking company, clock actions and related calculations are unavailable in the Driver Mobile App.

Trucking companies are responsible for determining whether to enable Time & Attendance and for complying with applicable wage, hour, labor, employment, recordkeeping, and notice requirements.

9. Location Information

Truckets may collect or process location-related information only when location features are enabled, device permissions are granted, and a driver is working an active accepted dispatch or job.

Location information may be used for active-work tracking, operational visibility, ticket verification, routing context, dispatch coordination, reporting, fraud prevention, and safety-related purposes.

Location information may be visible to the customer account, company administrators, dispatchers, supervisors, and other authorized users according to account settings and role permissions.

Users should not enable location features unless authorized to do so by their trucking company and applicable law. Trucking companies are responsible for providing any notices and obtaining any permissions or consents required for their workforce, contractors, or authorized users.

10. GPS Retention

Precise GPS history associated with active dispatch or job activity is retained in Truckets’ online systems for up to 90 days, unless a longer period is required for a documented legal, security, dispute-resolution, or customer-requested purpose.

After that period, precise GPS history is deleted or de-identified in accordance with Truckets’ retention procedures.

If Truckets later adopts a separate archival process for location data, this Privacy Policy and relevant customer notices will be updated before that process is used.

11. Offline Storage and Synchronization

The Driver Mobile App may temporarily store ticket drafts, trip entries, signatures, selected attachments, and synchronization information on the driver’s device to support work where connectivity is limited.

When the device reconnects, eligible information may be synchronized with the Services. Offline data may be cleared, invalidated, or made inaccessible when a user signs out, access is revoked, the company association changes, or the application determines that the local data is no longer valid.

Users remain responsible for protecting their devices from unauthorized access.

12. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, pixels, local storage, analytics tools, software development kits, and similar technologies to operate the website and Services, maintain sessions, remember preferences, improve performance, understand usage, and protect against fraud or abuse.

Browser and device settings may allow users to block or delete some of these technologies. Blocking them may affect how the Services function.

13. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose personal information to:

  • The trucking company that controls the account.
  • Authorized users within that trucking company, according to role permissions and account settings.
  • Service providers that support hosting, cloud storage, payment processing, mapping, email, messaging, notifications, analytics, security, support, and system monitoring.
  • Professional advisers, such as lawyers, accountants, insurers, and auditors.
  • Government authorities, law enforcement, courts, or other parties when legally required or necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or property.
  • Parties involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction.

We may also disclose information to enforce our Terms of Service, prevent fraud or misuse, investigate security issues, or protect Truckets, Central Coast DesignPros, LLC, customers, users, and others.

14. Payments

Dispatch-ticket bundle purchases may be processed through third-party payment processors.

Truckets may receive payment status, purchase history, transaction identifiers, billing-contact details, and related purchase records. We do not intend to store complete payment-card numbers on our own systems. Payment information may be handled directly by payment processors according to their terms and privacy practices.

15. No Sale or Cross-Context Behavioral Advertising

Truckets does not sell personal information for money.

Truckets does not intend to share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of individuals under 16 years old.

If our practices change in a way that creates a legal right to opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide the required method to exercise that right.

16. Data Retention

Except for the specific GPS retention rule above, we retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain accounts, support trucking records and reports, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud or abuse, maintain backups, and protect the Services.

Customers are responsible for exporting and retaining records needed for their own legal, tax, billing, insurance, regulatory, employment, or business purposes.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, account status, customer instructions, legal requirements, backup cycles, and business needs.

17. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, destruction, use, modification, or disclosure.

No online service can guarantee complete security. Customers and users are responsible for protecting their devices, passwords, company access codes, networks, user accounts, and internal procedures.

18. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for determining what information they enter into Truckets and whether they have the legal right to collect, use, disclose, and process that information through the Services.

Customers are also responsible for:

  • Providing required workforce, contractor, and customer privacy notices.
  • Obtaining required permissions or consents.
  • Managing user roles and access.
  • Deciding whether to enable optional features, including Time & Attendance and location-related functionality.
  • Complying with applicable privacy, employment, wage-and-hour, labor, transportation, insurance, and recordkeeping requirements.

19. Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and how Truckets processes your information, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or opt-out of certain processing.

To submit a privacy request, contact us at support@truckets.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

If your information is controlled by a Truckets customer, we may refer your request to that customer or ask you to contact that customer directly.

20. California Privacy Notice

This section applies to California residents to the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, applies to Truckets and the relevant information.
