1. Business Platform and Customer-Controlled Data

Truckets is a business-to-business platform for trucking operations.

Our business customers decide what information they enter into the Service and who they authorize to use the Service. In many cases, Truckets processes dispatch, driver, job, ticket, signature, and billing-related information on behalf of the customer that controls the account.

If you are a driver, dispatcher, employee, contractor, or other authorized user of a trucking company using Truckets, that company may be responsible for providing notices and handling certain privacy requests related to information it controls.

 

2. Personal Information We May Collect

Depending on how the Service is used, we may collect the following categories of personal information:

We may receive information from business customers, authorized users, payment processors, hosting providers, mapping providers, communication providers, and other service providers used to operate Truckets.

We may use information to provide and operate the Service; create and manage accounts; enable Dispatch Ticket creation; process Ticket purchases; support dispatch, driver, approval, signature, and reporting workflows; provide customer support; communicate with customers and users; secure the Service; prevent fraud and abuse; troubleshoot errors; improve features; analyze performance; comply with legal obligations; enforce agreements; and protect the rights, property, and safety of Truckets, customers, users, and others.

 

6. Location Information

Truckets may collect or process location-related information when location features are enabled and used in connection with dispatch activity, job tracking, driver activity, ticket verification, operational reporting, or other Service features.

Location information may be visible to the customer account, company administrators, dispatchers, supervisors, or other authorized users depending on account settings and user permissions.

Users should not enable location features unless they are authorized to do so by their company and applicable law. Customers are responsible for providing any notices or consents required for their workforce, contractors, or authorized users.

 

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, pixels, local storage, software development kits, analytics tools, and similar technologies to operate the website and Service, remember preferences, maintain sessions, improve performance, understand usage, and protect against fraud or abuse.

We may disclose information to the customer that controls the account, authorized users within that account, service providers, payment processors, hosting providers, map and location service providers, analytics providers, communication providers, professional advisors, law enforcement or government authorities when legally required, and parties involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of business assets.

We may also disclose information to enforce our Terms, prevent fraud or abuse, protect the Service, respond to legal requests, or protect the rights, property, and safety of Truckets, Central Coast DesignPros, LLC, customers, users, or others.

Customers are responsible for exporting and retaining records needed for their own legal, tax, billing, insurance, regulatory, or business purposes.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, account status, customer instructions, legal requirements, backup cycles, and business needs.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, destruction, use, modification, or disclosure.

No online service can guarantee complete security. Customers and users are responsible for securing their own devices, passwords, networks, user accounts, and internal procedures.

 

15. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for determining what information they enter into Truckets and whether they have the legal right to collect, use, disclose, and process that information through the Service.

Customers are responsible for providing any required notices, obtaining any required consents, managing user permissions, handling internal employee or contractor privacy obligations, and complying with laws applicable to their trucking operations.

 

16. Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and how Truckets processes your information, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or opt-out of certain processing.

If your information is controlled by a Truckets customer, we may refer your request to that customer or ask you to contact that customer directly.

 

17. California Privacy Notice

This section applies to California residents to the extent California privacy law applies to Truckets and the relevant information.

We may collect the categories of personal information listed in Section 2 of this Privacy Policy for the purposes described in Section 5. We may disclose those categories of information to the categories of recipients listed in Sections 8 and 9.

California residents may have the right to know/access, delete, correct, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, opt out of sale or sharing, and not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights, subject to legal limitations.
